Swarts Farm operates on 22 acres located in Chuckey, Tennessee approximately 9 miles off I-81 in Greene County.  It is owned by a female veteran and is family-operated by three generations of women.  

Swarts Farm was established on September 17th of 2022 with the purchase of eight pregnant KHSI-registered Katahdin ewes and a plan to learn while expanding.  Also, in 2022, we began undertaking several projects from repairing an old barn and updating fencing to setting up a robust sheep handling system, all in support of our plans to grow our sheep farming operation.  Additionally, we purchased a breeding pair of registered Karakachan guardian dogs with plans to begin a breeding program when they come of age in late 2024.
